Subaru is back with a huge comeback in Copenhagen!

After several years without sales representation of the brand in such an important area as Greater Copenhagen / Ballerup - Subaru finally returns with Rafn-Larsen Automobiler at the helm.

With the launch of the third brand from the land of the rising sun, Rafn-Larsen names the business "The Japanese Car House", to clearly communicate that all three brands are genuine Japanese."

Subaru-history

Subaru became part of the car universe in 1953 when Subaru Corporation was founded in Japan.

The name "Subaru" can best be translated into Danish as "to unite". If you've heard of a star cluster, you may also be familiar with the Pleiades, which is a well-known example of a star cluster. If not, a star cluster is simply a collection of stars.

In Japanese astrology, the Pleiades represent rebirth and strength, and "Subaru" is the Japanese name for the Pleiades.

The stars in the logo represent "the six shining units". The five small stars represent the five companies that together form the large sixth star - which was then Fuji Heavy Industries, and today is known as Subaru Corporation.

The very first Subaru hit the roads in 1958 and was named the “Subaru 360”. Subaru's unique Boxer engine made its debut in 1966, and the symmetrical all-wheel drive was introduced in 1972.
